Iris Toth

Assistant Director

Iris has been part of the CYJ family since her first summer as a camper in 2005. Since then, she has spent most of her summers at camp as a camper, counselor, unit head, and education director before joining the full-time team in 2018.

A native Austinite, Iris graduated from the University of Texas in 2017 with a BS in Applied Learning and Development. CYJ inspired her to pursue a degree in education because of her passion for working with children, and she is excited to use her training and experience in her work with camp.

Iris is the Assistant Director of CYJ. In this role, she hopes to provide as many children as possible with the same amazing opportunity she had to attend Jewish summer camp and cultivate amazing staff members who will enhance the camper experience year after year. CYJ truly is her happy place!
