The CYJ Journey
CYJ serves as the foundation of a lifelong journey of Jewish identity and connection. Campers start their CYJ Journey as young as first grade, and return to camp every year until the peak CYJ camper experience, Segel. In 10th and 11th grade, the CYJ Journey takes CYJers to Tel Yehudah - a camp specifically for Jewish teens from all over. After expanding their Jewish community at Tel Yehudah, CYJers gear up for the best summer ever when they combine being a MIT at CYJ and going to Israel with Young Judaea Gesher. Finally, the best CYJers return as incredible counselors after they graduate high school and before spending a gap-year in Israel on Young Judaea’s Year Course. The CYJ Journey starts with one summer but, truthfully, there is no end. With college programs, lifelong friends, and a global community, the YJ Journey will continue through every phase of your life.
