Who are our campers?
Jewish Boys & Girls Find a Home at CYJ
All Walks of Jewish Life
The only prerequisites for coming to camp are that a child is Jewish and of the appropriate age. We have campers from across the spectrum of Judaism: from Orthodox to Conservative to Reform to unaffiliated, from campers who attend public schools to those in Jewish Day Schools. Our campers’ varied Jewish backgrounds serve as a learning opportunity for their bunkmates. We are proud of our diverse community and welcome any who would benefit from a summer at CYJ! We are committed to making camp a place where everyone is welcome, where our connection as parts of the Jewish community is more important than our differences.
