Tel Yehudah
Don’t worry, Segel is not the end of your CYJ Journey! Tel Yehudah (TY) is next! TY is Young Judaea’s teen camp located in New York. At TY, your relationships with longtime camp friends will grow even stronger while you expand your CYJ family. TY specializes in teen programming and provides a space for teens to grow in their own right. You will meet new campers from different backgrounds and with different interests while simultaneously growing your existing friendships. TY is an incredibly magical place where you will have endless fun and make lifelong memories!
TY campers get to do some of their favorite activities that were offered at CYJ such as (even bigger) rikud sessions and Maccabiah, while also going on new adventures during TY’s trip week. During trip week, Yachad campers (10th grade) can go hiking, biking, kayaking, or to New York City, while Hadracha campers (11th grade) go to Washington DC to lobby Congress about a topic they are passionate about!
Tel Yehudah offers two session: June 25 - July 22 and July 24 - August 11. For more information, check out their website below.
Join your Segel friends at TY!
Gesher
Gesher is Young Judaea’s Israel trip offered to incoming 12th graders. It’s a 3.5 trip to Israel where you’ll go to the Dead Sea, spend a Shabbat in Jerusalem, have delicious food in Tel Aviv, and much more, all with your camp friends. Going to Israel with your CYJ cabin might have sounded too good to be true growing up, but this is your opportunity to actually do it! Camp friends you made at Tel Yehudah and CYJ will join you on this trip of a lifetime!
This year there are two different trips: June 30th to July 21st and July 7th to July 28th. Note: To do both CIT and Gesher you must do First Session CIT and the July 7th to July 28th trip.
