Wendy Aronson

Director of Development

Joining the year-round staff in September 2025, Wendy is a lifelong Judaean bringing deep roots in fundraising, Jewish camping, and youth leadership—making this role a true homecoming.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest region of Young Judaea, Wendy grew up immersed in Jewish communal life, serving as PNW Mazkira and staffing her first summer at CYJ West (may she RIP!). After Year Course in Israel, she went on to staff YJ summer programs in Israel, Tel Yehudah, and CYJ Midwest.

Wendy holds a Master’s in Jewish Education from Hebrew College and a Master’s in Jewish Communal Service from the Hornstein Program at Brandeis University.

Now based in Denver, Colorado, Wendy lives with her partner Aaron and their two boys. In her role at CYJ Texas, Wendy focuses on fostering donor relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring future generations of campers experience the transformative power of Jewish summer camp, as she did.
