Retreats and Program Coordinator

Michelle has been a part of the CYJ family since 2010, when she came as a Bogrim camper all the way from Colombia. She came to camp to improve her English. She didn’t know that she would have the experience of her life. After finishing her years as a camper, she became a counselor, unit head, and program director before joining the full-time team in 2023.

She finished her psychology degree at Anahuac University in Mexico City in 2020 and then became a kindergarten teacher for a few years. She loves interacting with kids and seeing how they learn something new every day.

Michelle is the Program and Retreat Coordinator. She wants to make a difference in the camp experience for campers and their families. She wants to make every event a new experience where the participants can have the time of their lives, build strong relationships, and create a Jewish connection.
