Payment Details

There are two standard payment options—a camper’s guardians can pay in full upon registration, OR they can pay tuition monthly between registration and May 15.

We ask for a $500 down payment upon registration for each child. Upon completing the application and making the deposit for each child, a spot will be held for your camper at camp.

Any tuition paid is fully refundable if you choose to withdraw your camper by March 1, 2022.

If you choose to withdraw your child between March 2 and April 30, 2022 you will receive your payment to date minus the $500 down payment.

After May 1, 2022, we will refund 50% of tuition for a cancellation prior to the session starting.

Early Bird: 2021 pricing for campers who register by September 6th for all programs. This is $100 off of Nitzanim through Bogrim and $200 off Segel.

Jewish Educators: $100 Jewish Educators discount

Refer a Camper: For every camper you recruit who has never been to camp and whose siblings have never come to camp, both families receive $100 off total tuition payment.

Sibling Discount: If a family is sending more than one child to camp, each child’s tuition is discounted $100 (We do not offer any discounts for the Mini Mensch tuition).

For aid in getting your child to camp, we have many Tuition Aid options. We will publish our Tuition Aid Packet in early October listing all of the scholarship possibilities by city.  For a summary of the optional services mentioned in the camper application, see “Optional Opportunities” below.

Optional Opportunities

There will be a page in the Camper Application form to pay for a number of optional opportunities. The applicant will be able to: sponsor tuition scholarships for other campers; make a general donation for the continued operation of CYJ-Texas; waive your Early Bird fee. These options are not included in general tuition.

Regarding staff gratuities—we are happy to say that we pay our counselors and staff a competitive wage, and it is our staff’s policy to not to accept gratuities. If you wish to show appreciation for our (amazing!) staff, there will be an option in the application process to donate to their recreation programs.

Transportation to camp is not included in tuition. Transportation fees and other Transportation Options can be found here.
